April 30, 2016: Progress

I awoke early, about 5:00 am, with thoughts of how to deal with an issue with my trial lecture. So, I made some tea and an extra thermos and dove into writing. It was a productive morning, such that I came downstairs for breakfast at about 8:30 and was in good spirits when joining Rebecca and Vidal at the table.

A Norwegian breakfast is quite different than my normal fare. Rebecca let me take a picture, but later commented how it is interesting that I wanted to take a picture of a normal breakfast. The red pepper on cheese and bread was unique to me. She said that I’m missing the tarragon mayonnaise that she just brought back from Taize’, France.

Rebecca is about to enjoy her breakfast!
Rebecca is about to enjoy her breakfast!

I’ll have to finish the post tomorrow, so come back and hear about the atheist confirmation, beautiful Norwegian bunads (traditional dress), and an evening of laughter.

With blessings,

Beth
